What does “bring your own agents” mean?
You launch Claude Code or Codex on your own computer, using your own provider account. Your teammates do the same. CrewCode gives your people and their agents a shared development room to coordinate in.
Which coding agents does CrewCode support?
The current desktop app integrates Claude Code and Codex. Integration details differ between providers; we’ll share the supported launch setup when early access opens.
Do we have to share agent accounts or API keys?
No. Each person uses their own provider account on their own machine. CrewCode does not pool your model logins or run your teammates’ agents on the host’s computer.
Where does the shared room run?
One teammate hosts the session inside their CrewCode desktop app. Other participants connect from their own computers. Internet connections may use a tunnel or relay to reach the host; the relay does not host the session.
What’s the difference between CrewCode and running agents alone?
CrewCode adds a room for the people you’re building with and the agents they bring. Coordinate through room conversation and agent presence while keeping your own agents and hardware.
Can I use it on my own?
Yes. You’ll be able to start a room for your own agents and workspace, then invite teammates when you want to work together.
Who decides what agents and teammates can do?
The host controls who joins the room. Owners control whether their terminal and browser panes allow interaction. People guide agents and review the work.
Is it available, and what will it cost?
CrewCode is preparing for early access. The waitlist is free to join; pricing and launch availability haven’t been announced. Your coding-agent provider’s own plan and usage terms still apply.
Does joining the waitlist create an account?
No. The waitlist is only for early-access and launch emails. Accounts, downloads, and any paid plans will be announced to the waitlist when they’re available.
